There are a number of online resources that may be helpful. This is by no means an exhaustive list but rather a place to start.
This new non-profit organization was created to celebrate the Fjord horse. It offers a community that supports Fjord lovers with educational materials, community events, and general promotion of the breed. Fjord ownership is not required although paid members get specail benefits. Their YouTube channel contains some videos of Fjord horses in performance.
The Forum was created for owners and breeders of Norwegian Fjord Horses to discuss concerns, needs and actions to protect genetic purity and to promote the Norwegian Fjord Horse. This group is an international group. The group is not affiliated with any Fjord Horse organization, registry, studbook, nor association.
This long established FB group has a large international community and allows discussion of a wide variety of topics.
This is a curated list of Fjords that are for sale and ISO ads for registered Fjords. The audience is primarily US based.
Part of the NFHR Customer Portal, anyone can use the Online Studbook to look up pedigrees on registered horses. Free of charge.
